LAFC has enjoyed several shirt sponsors in their short but successful history.
Shirt sponsors are all over the place on soccer shirts today. The front, back and sides of the jersey can accommodate sponsors as clubs look to make money.
However, in MLS, teams are only allowed two sponsors — one on the front and one on the right sleeve. Fans tend to pay more attention to the front sponsor as that is what they are exposed to more often. Although LAFC is currently in its seventh MLS season, it has already gone through three different sponsors.
YouTube TV: 2018 – 2020
When LAFC debuted in 2018, it was Carlos Vela leading the YouTube TV sponsorship on the front of the historic first jersey.
FLEX Power Tools: 2021 – 2023
Although Gareth Bale's time at LAFC was short, he was still a force to be reckoned with while at the Western Conference club while wearing the home team's second shirt with sponsor FLEX Power Tools front and centre.
BMO: 2024 – present
For those who didn't know LAFC played their home games at BMO Stadium. Ahead of the 2024 MLS season, the Black and Gold announced a new shirt sponsorship, along with BMO — which also owns the naming rights to Toronto FC's BMO Field.
