The Australian is looking forward to the move.
The 30-year-old has made 45 appearances in all competitions for the Bavarians so far, scoring 44 goals and registering 12 assists in that time, with Spurs sorely missing Kane's brilliance in Postecoglou's first campaign. the pit.
Tottenham managed to cope well without their former star, however, with Postecoglou even recording the best start by any new manager in Premier League history. However, there are some doubts about Richarlison's suitability to lead the line going forward, despite the Brazilian's mid-season purple patch. Reports have suggested that Tottenham are even open to selling Richarlison for a suitable offer, amid interest from Saudi Arabia.
A number of interesting options have been named as strikers on Tottenham's summer transfer wishlist. Ivan Toney is thought to be attracting interest from Spurs, with the England star having a hand in Gareth Southgate's Euro 2024 call-up.
The 28-year-old, who scored 20 league goals last season, has entered the final 12 months of his contract – which could force Brenford to sell for less than they wanted.
Toney isn't the only striker linked with N17, as Sky Sports detailed some of the names they were considering in this week's report.
Tottenham are looking to sign Lois Openda from RB Leipzig
Along with the likes of Lille striker Jonathan David, Sky says RB Leipzig star Lois Openda is also a star for the Lilywhites.
Spurs are after a versatile striker, and the 24-year-old is thought to fit the bill. Tottenham are looking to sign Postecoglou's Openda, despite some claims he could cost around £85 million, but it remains to be seen if they decide to formalize their interest with a proposal to test Leipzig's willingness.
It is not the first time they have been linked with Openda, who scored 28 goals and provided seven assists last term, and commentator John Wenham believes he could be a “striker” to replace Richarlison.
“I watched Openda in the Champions League a few times this year and I was impressed,” Wenham said to Tottenham News, “He's got a real mix of pace and good finishing ability. He looks like someone who can play wide, so he could be an interesting replacement for Richarlison. “
