But Martin isn't solidifying the money he's leaving on the table by turning down the Heat's offer. Focused on his new opportunity with the 76ers, he refused to elaborate on his decision to pass on the Heat's $65 million offer when asked about it by Philadelphia media. “Some things just didn't work out,” Martin said Tuesday. “A lot of things happen behind the scenes. But in the end, a lot went into making that decision and a lot went into how it all turned out, but bygone is past. “I'm not going to do anything about that and like I said, I'm looking forward to being here and being a part of Philly and trying to bring everything I can to try to win a title. That's what I'm focusing on now.”
