There is nothing good about Conceicao. He is raw but very strong, and often goes overboard with his fists. He was getting here but he was having some success with his jab and connected with two hard rights. They trade punches a few times, with both landing and Conceicao connecting with a right.
Score: 10-9 Conceicao (Foster 48-47)

Round 8
Conceicao was coming forward throwing long jabs and Foster was circling him and trapping him with quick, easy shots. A brief exchange saw the two sit down, with Foster then walking Conceicao in a flurry of shots. Conceicao forced Foster to hit the ropes but Foster slid to his right. Answer from Eric: From Brazil Conceicao had his fourth shot at the title, having previously lost to Oscar Valdez and Stevenson and tied with Emanuel Navarrete. Getting the fourth shot shows that you get the benefit of being a Top Rank fighter.
Foster was defending his WBC title for the third time. Others saw it as a robbery but for me he was the winner but he got a small point.
