Former Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Germany defender Markus Babbel says Spain will be drafted in as favorites for the Euro 2024 final on Sunday, but finds it difficult to call a winner.
La Roja booked their place in Berlin after beating France in the semi-finals, despite going 1-0 down early on.
They face England, who scored a last minute winner against the Netherlands on Wednesday night and mark the last games in a row for Gareth Southgate.
Spain have been in impressive form in Germany, beating Italy, Croatia and the hosts in their travels.
Babbel, who won against Germany in 1996, says they are the best team to watch this summer.
Speaking exclusively to 101GreatGoals on behalf of NewBettingOffers, he said: “100%. For me, they were the best. It doesn't matter what happens on Sunday because in one game anything can happen.
“But so far, it is Spain, which is the best team in the tournament. They are talented, they are highly skilled, they are individual, they are superior, there are many great things.

“It is very difficult to play with them because they have a lot of confidence.
“They are unbelievable and arrogant. They believe that they are winning this competition and they show it in every game.
“And I'm looking forward to Sunday because my favorite before the tournament is England.
“I am not 100% sure that they are physically strong enough because they always have periods in the game, if they look tired, they cannot bring energy to the field.
“If you look at the England team in Spain, I can say that the England team has great strength in the players.
“But as a team it looks good what Spain is doing and of course they are favorites on Sunday.”

They have long been at the top of the conference in terms of quality, but in Rodri, Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo and Nico Williams, they have an incredibly exciting core.
Babbel has seen a lot of faith in watching Spain at Euro 2024, and believes their preparations for the tournament have helped them.
He said: “He was the Under 21 manager for a long time, so he knows many of the players in this team and he brought the belief that there are some who can beat them.
“They defeated the United Nations. And you say, 'Okay, League of Nations, it's not that important.' But they won it, so the players started to believe, 'Hey, we can win trophies.'
“They have a mixture of experienced players, but they also have great skills. In this team there is Lamine Yamal and then there is Carvajal, Rodri, experienced guys and the mix is fun.
“So there is a good harmony in this group and that is what De la Fuente did.”
Spain face their final test on Sunday when they take on England, who will be looking to win their first international trophy since 1966.
This game will be held in Berlin at the Olympic Stadium, which will start at 8 pm.
