The Srixon ZX7 MKII Irons are very popular among the top players on the PGA Tour right now with nine pros carrying them in their bags, including Keegan Bradley, Sepp Straka, and Shane Lowry.

This makes this model the most popular line from Srixon when it comes to catering to PGA Tour and LIV Golf players.

According to the PGAClubTracker.com database, the Srixon ZX7 MKII Irons are the fourth most popular iron model on the PGA Tour.

Srixon's fastest aron clubs will be played by PGA Tour professionals following their release in January 2021, and the ZX7 single-blade disc is a great replacement for the Z745 range until it's followed by the MKII.

They first went on trial for the top players in October 2022.

A completely new design feature exclusive to the ZX7 Mk II Irons is PureFrame technology. Srixon says the PureFRame improves the experience by reducing unwanted vibrations.

They revealed that the PureFrame ridge is built into the Iron body — just behind the sweet spot — as an 80% thicker section of 1020 Carbon Steel.

This section is positioned just right where you hit the ball, and the result is a soft yet firm stroke that doesn't sacrifice any of the ZX7's famous tour-caliber performance.

Srixon's Dynamic Tour VT Sole helps maintain clubhead speed through impact for cleaner strikes on rough, rough fairways and sand—even if you touch the turf slightly behind the ball. A high jump on the leading edge prevents digging; then, the low bounce on the trailing edge bends away from the turf, so you can change the angle of the face for maximum performance on negative contacts.

Laser milling between each groove, in all lofts, improves friction in all conditions. The result is consistency throughout the set, as the spin, distance, and launch window remain as consistent as possible.
