Chelsea is done to sign of Renato Veiga from FC Basel in a deal believed to be worth £12m.
The 20-year-old followed in the footsteps of many recent Chelsea signings, signing a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
“I'm very happy to be here,” Veiga told Chelsea's official channels. “This is one of the biggest teams in England – the biggest for me – and I'm really excited to get started.”
Veiga joins Tosin Adarabioyo, Omari Kellyman, Marc Guiu and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall at Chelsea, in addition to new coach Enzo Maresca.
