Marcelo Bielsa hits the ground running in CONMEBOL over the organization of the Copa America
Uruguay manager Marcelo Bielsa is upset with the United States and CONMEBOL over their Copa America schedule.
The Copa America will be played in America and the final between Argentina and Colombia will take place on Sunday night.
Uruguay, who lost their semi-final against Colombia, have a third-place match against Canada on Saturday night, but Bielsa is unhappy with the organization of the tournament.
Bielsa is not happy with the organization of the Copa America
After losing in the semi-finals, Uruguay players got involved in bad incidents when they clashed with Colombian fans in the stands after an argument broke out in an area where there were families of players and children.
Speaking before the match against Canada, Bielsa made it clear that he was not happy with the organization of the tournament and said that it was not well organized before the match, regarding the conditions of the stadiums and security.
Wow, Marcelo Bielsa is totally trashing the USA and CONMEBOL in their Copa America disaster in terms of stadiums and other things, crazy.
“…They told Scaloni: 'You have spoken once, do not speak again.' And the players, everyone is threatening. pic.twitter.com/jIp3XXn0va

“All the lies they told,” Bielsa said in a pre-match press conference.
“They do press conferences and say 'no, the stadiums are fine, the training grounds are fine.'
“I have all the pictures that show that this is all a lie.
“This is the plague of liars. Now, I have said everything I promised (the organizers and the coalition) I will not say. All these punishments are coming.
“All the mistakes were known beforehand.
“North Americans don't say 'you'll get the perfect pitch.' They tell you 'we'll give you a camp that was posted three days ago, or (x) number of days ago,' training camps were a disaster.
“They held a press conference and said it was just an idea. Vinicius (Junior) can't see. That (Lionel) Scaloni should not speak. That training grounds are perfect if we all have a collection (bad grounds).”
It remains to be seen what punishment Bielsa will face for his outburst which will not go down well with the organizers of the tournament, but the good thing about Bielsa and why so many people like him is because he is open-minded and tells it like it is. .
