Tottenham are making contact with the £60m star's agent ahead of a potential move
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is backed by the club in the summer transfer window after impressing last season.
Postecoglou missed out on Champions League football in the last few weeks of the season after defeats to Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are interested in signing Wolves winger Pedro Neto and have been in regular contact with his agent.
The deal between the two clubs is dependent on money and it remains to be seen how much Wolves will want for the leading player, who has faced injury problems in his Premier League career.
Romano told GiveMeSport:
“They are always in contact with Pedro Neto's agent. For Pedro Neto, it really depends on the fee. He had a lot of injuries, so Tottenham would be happy to try Pedro Neto again, but only in normal situations, not crazy situations. That's why it depends on the wolves.”
Along with Tottenham, Newcastle United also want to sign this player who is reported to be worth around £60m by Wolves.
In 20 Premier League games last season, Neto provided nine assists and scored two goals but his impressive season was marred by fitness issues.
