Ritter was able to get up, but it was clear that Ritter was a man on loan. Coe pressed forward and hit Ritter with rights, lefts, and uppercuts. When Coe continued to beat Ritter in the ring, the referee finally stepped in and stopped the contest.
27-year-old Khalil Coe of Jersey City, New Jersey (9-0-1, 7 KOs) was in his first ten-round fight, but needed only two to get the job done.
The KO win over Ritter pushes Coe's current streak to five consecutive knockout victories.
During his post-fight interview, Khalil Coe was looking to the future, and he has his sights set on an undefeated contender in the light-heavyweight division.
“Joshua Buatsi, whenever you finish with that bastard Willy Hutchinson, you need to yell at me,” said Khalil Coe during a post-fight interview.
