Oyarzabal broke English hearts as Spain were crowned champions

Mikel Oyarzabal made a name for himself in Spain's history after scoring the winning goal against England in the final of the European Championship in Berlin.

Twelve years after they last qualified for a major tournament, Luis de la Fuente's side were crowned European champions after a dramatic victory on Sunday night.

After opening the cage on 45 minutes which saw both teams shoot one goal between them, La Roja scored after the break when Nico Williams found himself in acres of space, finishing past Jordan Pickford.

Cole Palmer's stunning strike then put the Three Lions in the lead but that joy was short-lived as substitute Oyarzabal struck with minutes remaining.
