Como claims Wolves overreacted to 'Jackie Chan' talk on South Korean striker Hwang
Serie A side Como have accused Wolves players of overreacting despite confirming a fiery speech directed at their South Korean striker Hwang Hee-chan.
A friendly between the sides in Marbella yesterday descended into chaos when a Como player called Hwang “Jackie Chan”, a reference to the Hong Kong-born martial artist.
Wolves' Daniel Podence was sent off following a disturbance when team manager Gary O'Neil asked Hwang if he wanted the game to be stopped, which he refused.

The Como people issued a statement today clarifying their plan of events saying that the incident was “extremely exaggerated”.
“Our group does not tolerate racism and condemns all its forms in the strongest possible way,” said Mirwan Suwarso, who represents Como's owners.
“We have spoken to the defender in question to understand what is being said.
“He told us that his comment to the defender was, 'don't pay attention to him, he thinks he's Jackie Chan'.
“As we have spoken to our player in detail, we are sure that this was referring to the name of the player, and to the constant talk of 'Channy' by his teammates on the field.
“Regarding our team, our player did not say anything insulting. We are disappointed that the reaction of some Wolves players has seen this incident happen in a different way.”

O'Neil said the comment was “deeply offensive” and that Hwang was “deeply disappointed”.
Wolves sent a complaint to UEFA but the European football governing body said it could not intervene as it was outside its jurisdiction.
