The club is in advanced talks with Dani Olmo
Shortly after the conclusion of the European Championship, Man City have advanced in negotiations to sign one of Spain's exciting talents.
Pep Guardiola will be looking to achieve an unprecedented back-to-back Premier League title in 2024/25, and in order to do that, a revival of his impressive squad is a must.
That city, like Pep's Bayern and Barca before them, is strong while at the top of its game and says a lot about the right way to secure the emergence of a winning team.
Despite being the best club side in the world, Guardiola will not rest on his quest for footballing perfection.
City's players, some of the best in their position in the world, are therefore unable to settle down and be comfortable as there is always someone running to cover them.
We only need to look at how difficult things have been recently for £100m signing, Jack Grealish, to get an idea of the levels that Guardiola demands week in and week out.
Man City progress in Dani Olmo talks
If Dani Olmo signs at the Etihad Stadium, he will understand what is required from the get-go, and Football Insider suggest that City are in advanced talks with the player.
The Premier League champions will need to move on if they are to land him without controversy, however.
??? Key details on Dani Olmo: following Spain's access to the Euro 2024 finals, the release clause will be valid until July 20 and no longer on July 15.
There was this specific element in the clause because of the Euros, which are now officially accepted.

His release clause is believed to expire the day after the European Championship final, although there is understood to be a short extension until July 20.
If nothing is agreed on that date, City will have to enter into tough negotiations with RB Leipzig and for a much higher fee than his current release fee (Mirror) of £50m.
