Jaylen Brown found himself in a bit of trouble during the Lakers Summer League game after he appeared to be caught on 4K chasing Bronny James.
In a video originally posted by Celtics on NBC Sports Boston, Brown appeared to say, “Honestly, I don't think Bronny is an expert”.
He sat down with WBNA stars Angel Reese and Kysre Gondrezick and the latter appeared to respond to Brown's comments about Bronny.
Gondrezick said, “I think he's definitely going to be on a G-League team.”
Brown replied, “I don't think so, I think because of his name he will be on the Lakers.”
Without confirming or denying that he was talking about Bronny, Brown addressed the situation and the storm that hit social media.
“It's revolutionary having your son around you in the nba shows greatness and longevity!Bronny has all the tools around him to be successful and I'm looking forward to watching him grow,” Brown told X.

The game not attended by Brown was difficult for Bronny, who finished the night with two points, three rebounds and one assist, as well as three fouls.
James has been miserable so far in Summer League and has gone 0-15 from the field.
But it is still early days and there is no doubt that the pressure on the 19-year-old will not be easy to handle.
Bronny recently said that he is open to whatever role the Lakers have for him in 2024-25, whether in the NBA or the G-League.
“I look forward to any basketball I play, it doesn't matter what level I play,” he told reporters after the Lakers' 99-80 loss to the Rockets.
