Bronny James Reacts to His Best Lakers Performance So Far

Bronny James has had a rough summer, but he had his best outing for the Lakers on Wednesday and led the franchise to an 87-86 victory over the Hawks.

Bronny finished the night with 12 points, a rebound, a steal and went 5-11 from the field.

The No. 55 pick also finally made a three-pointer after going 0-16 in the previous games, and the relief on his face after the game was clear to see.

Bronny said it felt “pretty good” to hit the three shot.

“You hit your first shot, you feel better automatically, like the first three I made that just opened the game for me,” Bronny told reporters after the game.

The 19-year-old was asked how he evaluated his performance.

“Trying to forget everything I missed, forget all the games we lost, I just go out and play my game and try to do my best every time I come to the field,” said Bronny.

She made sure to mention how important her cheer team was in the early days of her career.

“Having a support system behind you, my Mom, my Dad,” said Bronny. “They help me a lot and encourage me to stay focused and you know, just keep being me so I feel like that's a big part of that.”

The guard added that all the media attention he's received has been a lot, but he knows that's what he'll have to deal with if he wants to play in the NBA.

Bronny said he is sure that LeBron will watch his game from afar and the advice his father has given him so far is to “stay aggressive” even though his shots have not fallen.
