Kevin Durant, the leading scorer on the USA men's basketball team, has a calf strain and will miss the start of Team USA's training camp in Las Vegas as a precaution.
He is expected to join Team USA's practice in London today, marking his first practice with the Olympic team.
Durant could make his first appearance in one of the exhibition games against South Sudan on Saturday or against Germany on Monday as he recovers from a strained calf.
