A banner year for the Russians Diana Schneider continues on the ATP Tour. The 20-year-old will bid for her third WTA title – and third in three tournaments – on Sunday in Budapest, after defeating Eva Lys 6-3, 6-3 on Saturday.
Schneider, ranked No. 28, will face it Aliaksandra Sasnovich for the title.

134th-ranked Sasnovich defeated Anna Karolina Schmiedlova, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 – seeking her first WTA title.
Shnaider, a former NCAA standout at North Carolina State University, has won titles at Hua Hin (hard court) and Bad Homburg (grass) so far in 2024. She is bidding to become the youngest player to win WTA singles titles in all three venues. in one year since Caroline Wozniacki turned 19 in 2009.
