There is no doubt that he would be a top quality signing for Atletico Madrid if they can get a deal done. His work rate, drive and fitness are great qualities in Diego Simeone's field.
Atletico Madrid is one of the biggest clubs in Spain, and it wouldn't be surprising if the England international is happy to play for them.
