Ozzy Osbourne stars in the launch video
Ozzy Osbourne and his Black Sabbath bandmate Geezer Butler helped promote the new Aston Villa home shirt which was unveiled this morning.
Heavy legends featured in the video on X – as well as providing the soundtrack to Paranoid – featuring former Villa player Gabby Agbonlahor and current stars Emi Martinez and John McGinn.
The shirt is made by adidas and is in the club's traditional claret and blue. It also has a special 'AV150' logo to mark its 150th anniversary.

Chris Heck, president of business at Aston Villa, said: “We are very proud to unveil our new playing kit which marks the start of not only a historic partnership with one of the world's most recognized sports brands but a historic year for our football club. .
“The new jerseys feature the latest adidas technology and have been developed in collaboration with the Aston Villa men's and women's teams.”
Villa had a great season under Unai Emery in 2023-24, finishing fourth in the Premier League, and will play in the Champions League next term.
