The Abbotsford Canucks have signed a defenseman Layton Ahac on a one-year contract with the American Hockey League.
Ahac enters his fourth season after collecting five assists in 69 games with the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights in 2023-24.
In 148 regular season games, all with Henderson, Ahac has tallied one goal and 16 assists. He also recorded one goal in three postseason outings.
A native of North Vancouver, BC, Ahac was a third-round pick by Vegas in the 2019 NHL Draft.
