The strongest tips for today's games and the best betting discounts

The Olympic soccer tournament continues today with hosts and favorites France.

Spain, which recently qualified for Euro 2024 in Germany, also opens its campaign, as does Argentina.

We've gone through the programs and identified bets that we feel offer good value.

All odds are accurate from 10:50, July 24 with bet365

Uzbekistan v Spain

The Spaniards boast of being the envy of many teams in these games.

Their team includes two European Championship winners in Alex Baena and Fermin Lopez and three strong senior players – Juan Miranda, Sergio Gomez and Abel Ruiz.

Throw in full-backs Eric Garcia and Pau Cubarsi, a 17-year-old who starred for Barcelona last season, and you can see why they should be so strong against Uzbekistan.

We want them to win comfortably.

Tip: Spain to win with -1 handicap at 10/11.

France v United States

France, who are the hosts of the tournament, will be buzzing with support from the patriots as they look to surpass the last major tournament they hosted, Euro 2016, when they lost to Portugal in the final.

Coach Thierry Henry has had withdrawal problems but he can still call a team full of experience, youth and talent.

Alexandre Lacazette is the club's captain and could form a central midfield with Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Mateta will relish the opportunity to play again with former Palace team-mate Michael Olise, who joined Bayern Munich this summer.

And keep an eye on Rennes midfielder Desire Doue, who is reportedly wanted by Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Tottenham.

The US won't be pushovers, bringing their usual organization and athleticism, but it's hard not to see France starting with a win.

Tip: France to win 4/7.

Guinea v New Zealand

New Zealand lost 3-1 to Uzbekistan in their final warm-up match last week and appear to be one of the weakest teams in the tournament.

Guinea come into the tournament with a 1-0 win over Argentina under their belts and are captained by experienced Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita.

Expect Guinea to prove very strong.

Tip: Guinea to win at 4/6.
