Former Arsenal star Nicolas Pepe is set to take a dig at Chelsea and Manchester United starlets Mykhailo Mudryk and Antony following his struggles in the Premier League.
Pepe joined Arsenal in the summer of 2019 in what looked to be a sensational move after his impressive performances at former club Lille, but he ended up being remembered as an under-performer who cost too much.
Pepe is still Arsenal's second most expensive player, according to Transfermarkt, but he is now without a club this summer and has spoken to BBC Sport about being open to a return to the English club, while naming Mudryk and Antony as equally expensive flops. they have not attracted the same levels of criticism.
Arsenal fans will no doubt be disappointed by Pepe's lack of impact at the Emirates Stadium, although they have signed less brilliant players since then who have performed much better.

Discussing his difficult time at Arsenal, Pepe said: “If Arsenal had bought me for £20m, maybe it would have been different. It's not the player's fault.
“They are not asking for £100m or £90m. But that's how it is in the world of football and it's something people don't understand.
“There are players like Mudryk and Antony who don't do well all the time, but they are not bad players.”
He went on to say: “We listen to all the offers, then it will be my representatives who will inform me of the real intentions of the group, and if it is not a serious offer, I will not hear about it. Let's see what happens. But I don't refuse to go back to England.”
