The partnership will help those who spend a long time exposed to the sun to stay protected, while keeping their hands clean, thanks to Solex's unique hands-free application.

The partnership between the Melanoma Fund and Solex initially grew out of a shared golfing experience, with the 'Slip! Slap! Swipe!' campaign providing free sun protection kits to golf clubs across the UK. This has gone a long way in making sure golfers understand why it's important to protect yourself from the sun before hitting the first tee.

However, for complete protection, sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours. As many golfers are reluctant to do so, for fear of the 'greasy grip' that can be associated with conventional sunscreens and sprays.
