Liverpool visit the United States as they continue their preparations for 2024/25 and will face Real Betis in their opening match across the pond.
Arne Slot has managed just one game as Liverpool manager so far, taking charge as his side lost 1-0 to Championship side Preston North End behind closed doors. The likes of Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Harvey Elliott have all been active.
The Reds will be hoping to improve on the result when they face Spanish side Real Betis in the early hours of Saturday in Pittsburgh. Their first game in the US is quickly followed by meetings with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United.

Most of Liverpool's 28-man initial squad for the United States is made up of inexperienced academy products, although guys like Salah, Szoboszlai, Elliott, Curtis Jones, Wataru Endo and Andy Robertson all made the cut. Others may join the Reds later.
Slott named a strong starting XI against Preston and is likely to do the same against Betis, with younger players introduced later in the game. Unfortunately, both Jayden Danns and Bobby Clark miss out through injury, while a host of first-team players are on holiday after international duty.
Although Robertson has joined the squad for the tour, he is out for several weeks due to the injury he picked up ahead of Euro 2024.

Adrian returned to youth club Betis on a free transfer despite a contract from Liverpool, with the Spanish veteran meeting a familiar face in Pittsburgh just weeks after his Anfield exit. He is likely to get minutes, like former Premier League players Hector Bellerin, Pablo Fornals and Marc Roca.
Nabil Fekir almost signed for Liverpool in 2018 but the move failed to materialize despite completing a medical. He has been to the United States and has to start in the last third.
