Reporter Dean Jones says Villa striker John Duran is starting to get frustrated with his club for not planning a move to West Ham.
A deal has come close to being done several times in the past two weeks but nothing has materialized as Aston Villa are adamant that they will not sell him for less than their £40m asking price.
According to Jones, Emery is determined to get the Colombian international off the ground as soon as possible, but an exit has yet to happen.
“They (West Ham) are obviously waiting for John Duran at Aston Villa. He wants a move, he wants to join West Ham, he wants to be the front man. Some frustration. “I think he's starting to move a little bit in terms of wanting this step,” Jones said.
“Also, I don't think Unai Emery is a big fan of Jhon Duran the way he behaves, so I believe Aston Villa are letting him go.” – finished Jones.
