Kevin Durant On What It's Like To Be Teammates With Steph Curry Again
Kevin Durant and Steph Curry are teammates again for the first time since 2019 and it seems like the two are loving each other every minute.
It's only fitting that in the twilight of their careers Durant and Curry reunited to bring glory to Team USA, one of the most talented basketball teams in Olympic history.
KD was the peanut butter to Steph's jelly when they played for the Warriors together, winning back-to-back championships in 2017 and 2018.
The roster the Warriors put together during that time and what they were able to do, means they will go down as one of sports' most dominant teams.
So, Durant and Curry have been reminiscing about those good times, KD said.
“Definitely, we've talked about the good times we've had together,” Durant said Andscape's Marc J. Spears. “[Curry is] just an incredible person. [I’m] getting to spend time with him on a deeper level. I look forward to getting to know these guys on a deeper level already.”
It's clear that Curry likes the trip down memory lane as well, as he said San Francisco Chronicle Ron Kroichick said he enjoyed 'rekindling old flames' with his running mate.
“That's the beauty of this act — rekindling old flames with KD, playing with guys I've never played with before,” Curry told Kroichick. “I'm having the time of my life and enjoying every minute of it.”
With Durant, Curry, and LeBron James coming to the end of their careers, it may be the last time we see the trio play at the Olympic level.
Although, the 2028 Olympic Games are in Los Angeles, so you can't discount LeBron being there.
