Manchester United fear new signing Leny Yoro could face a lengthy spell out after being filmed wearing a protective boot during the club's pre-season tour of the United States.
Yoro picked up the injury in the first half of Saturday's 2-1 loss against Arsenal in Los Angeles and was held yesterday at UCLA's training facility wearing a boot, crutches and a heavy bandage on his left leg.
The 18-year-old joined United from Lille two weeks ago for £52million and the serious injury would represent a major blow for United and manager Erik ten Hag, who had hoped the Frenchman would be a key part of the team's bid to finally improve. the season is in eighth place in the Premier League.

Ten Hag will be speaking to the media tomorrow about Yoro's fitness which is sure to be a big topic of conversation.
Yoro's signing underscored the culture change under Ineos' new owners and smaller players focused on the exchange market.
The club already have a promising core at Old Trafford with the likes of Amad Diallo, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Kobbie Mainoo performing well when given the chance last season.
Amad is determined to make an impression
Of that quartet, Amad has received little playing time due to injury and Ten Hag's over-reliance on Antony and the former Sunderland loanee hopes to do more in 2024-25.
The Ivory Coast midfielder said: “I am very happy. I believe in the manager. I know that last season I didn't play much, but this season will be a good season for everyone and I'm motivated.
“We [myself and Ten Hag] he had a conversation, a constructive conversation and he said good things.”
The highlight of Amad's United career so far was the last minute winner against Liverpool in the FA Cup.
He added: “That goal was the most important goal in my life. I was very happy to score that goal. I still can't believe it.
“I was confident and finally the manager started to believe in me and played me a lot.”
