Liverpool officials have now said that Slot's highest target could go for £59m

Although all has felt quiet at Anfield in recent weeks, it appears that Liverpool have received an unexpected boost in their pursuit of target Arne Slot.

While few would have expected Slot to be the first in his first transfer window in charge of Liverpool, the lack of action on the transfer front may worry some of the Anfield faithful.
