After enjoying impressive results on the international tour over the past few months, Titleist has revealed details of its new range of GT drivers and fairway woods, available for custom orders from today (August 1) and will be available in stores from August 23 . .
Titleist says its three GT drivers – GT2, GT3 and GT4 – are 'faster, longer, straighter and more forgiving' than any driver it has produced before.
Designed to offer different performance characteristics to suit different shooting preferences, i GT2 is a 460cc driver designed for speed and forgiveness on all surfaces with a high MOI setting. I GT3 is a 460cc pilot designed for fine-tuned speed and control, to increase range and improve flight, while GT4 it's a low-spin, 430cc driver designed to eliminate excess rotation and deliver a quick, penetrating turn.
Speaking about the new range, Stephanie Luttrell, Director of Titleist Metalwood Product Development, said: “The GT line represents a leap forward in Titleist driver design and engineering.
“The progress we have made in construction, molding and design was not possible in previous generations. All the advancements found in the GT work in concert to create the best-performing driver we've ever made.”
Chuck Golden, Senior Vice President of Titleist Club Research & Development, added: “One of our original goals with the GT was to make it faster than the TSR, and the only way to achieve our design goals was to break away from all-titanium construction. . The density of this crown is almost three times lighter than what we had in the all-titanium design.
“By wrapping the crown down on one, we increase the distribution of mass throughout the head, which allows us to have significant advantages in designing our center of gravity and inertia.”
GT TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
SEAMLESS THERMOFORM COAT
Each model in the GT range features an ultra-lightweight crown made from a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer. The material, which has never been used in the design of a golf clubhead, has given Titleist engineers unprecedented design solutions in terms of internal weight positioning, which unlocks benefits in many aspects of the driver's performance. The crown is pressed into the stones using an advanced thermoforming process, resulting in a clean look with no visible seams or transitions between materials.

HIGH MOI PERFORMANCE
The weight savings resulting from the GT's Thermoform Crown gave Titleist engineers the ability to reposition the weight of choice in the right places within the clubhead. Mass was pushed with both techniques at the front of the club, opening up more speed with CG placement, and looking at the back, providing stable, high MOI performance.
The CG placement on all three models varies, giving players the opportunity to find the right combination of speed, launch angle and spin for their games with three different setups.
ADVANCED AERODYNAMICS
Improvements in interior design and weight distribution have allowed significant improvements in aerodynamics across all three models, an achievement that was previously impossible due to design limitations. GT drivers feature refined profiles that help reduce drag and increase clubhead speed.
A NEW FACE WEAR
GT models feature new face graphics, designed to frame the ball more evenly at address. This change, driven by specific Tour player prototyping and feedback, helps golfers align the golf ball with the center of the club with more confidence.
SPEED FAST BALL
The fastest face of the GT has two main technologies behind it. An advanced titanium Speed Ring strengthens and stabilizes the perimeter of the clubface, producing high ball speed on off-center hits, while Variable Face Thickness (VFT) works to maintain fast ball speed on off-center strikes. , ended the descent of the extreme range. turned off.
TITLEIST GT2 DRIVER

GT3 delivers faster ball speed and higher control for players looking to increase distance and control ball movement.
With the new Adjustable CG Track, now positioned closer to the face compared to the TSR3, golfers can choose between five CG positions (H2, H1, N, T1, T2), tailoring the CG setting to their strike position inclination. Correct CG position will produce more speed and greater consistency in ball flight. These advantages are further enhanced in GT3 due to the new, forward track surface.
Like the GT2, the GT3's clubhead is 460cc, although its shape appears narrower and pear-shaped, and its clubface remains longer. Compared to the TSR3, the shape of the GT3 is more flexible in the wind, translating to faster clubhead speeds for the golfer.

TITLEIST GT4 DRIVER

TITLEIST GT FAIRWAY METALS
The Titleist GT range of fairway metals offers fast speed, high flight, good spin and long carry in two unique models.
Both the GT2 and GT3 fairway metal irons feature new construction, starting with their Seamless Thermoform crown, made from Titleist's Proprietary Matrix Polymer. The crown retains the classic Titleist look while the Proprietary Matrix Polymer acoustic elements provide the classic Titleist sound and feel.
Like the GT driver's line, the ultra-light crown on the GT2 and GT3 fairways allows for optional weight redistribution, resulting in an improved center of gravity for each model. The result is a higher flight with the same or lower spin and faster speed in both models. The new L-Cup face improves performance on low-impact shots, and the refined shaping on each model gives players two different options to choose from.
GT2 FAIRWAY
The GT2 fairway delivers high flight, low spin and exceptional forgiveness. The model comes in five different lofts, allowing players to drive their distance at the bottom of their bag. The GT2 has an inviting profile with a shallow face, perfect for players with a sweeping delivery with their fairway irons.

The GT3 fairway offers a controlled flight, faster ball speed and higher adjustability. Each of the GT3's three loft configurations includes the refined SureFit Adjustable CG Tracking System, which allows riders to move the sliding weight track to one of five positions: H2 (Heel), H1, N (Neutral), T1 (Toe), T2 .
The longer face helps differentiate the GT3 from the GT2, a profile preferred by many players who like to hit the ball down with their fairway metal and prefer the look of a deeper face.

WELCOME QUICK TRAVEL
GT2 drivers made their debut on the PGA Tour in June at the Memorial Tournament, with 13 players fielding one of the new models immediately.
A week later, at the US Open, 19 players had a GT driver in the bag – including the 2021 FedExCup (GT2) winner and the 2013 Masters (GT2) champion.
Through the Scottish Open in July, more than 100 players have played GT driver on the PGA Tour, including Max Homa (GT3), Tom Kim (GT3), Cameron Young (GT2), Justin Thomas (GT2) and Will Zalatoris (GT2). Billy Horschel and Justin Rose finished second in the Open Championship both GT3 drivers.
The acceptance of new drivers for GT2, GT3 and GT4 has been extended to the DP World Tour with 28 fastest times in GT in its first week and is now being used by the likes of Matteo Manassero (GT3), Jordan Smith (GT3) and the 2024 BMW International Open champion Ewen Ferguson (GT3).
On the LPGA Tour, players moving to GT include Albane Valenzuela (GT3), Emily Pedersen (GT3) and world No.3 Jin Young Ko who now uses GT2.
