Golf Marketing Services (GMS) is proud to announce its nomination for the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards and Growing Business Awards 2024. This nomination highlights GMS's exceptional growth and impactful contribution to its clients and the wider golf industry in 2023- 24.
The Growing Business Awards, now in their 27th year, are recognized as the UK's most trusted and respected recognition of exceptional growth businesses. GMS has been shortlisted as one of six finalists for “B2B Business of the Year – Small” and one of 10 for “Growing Business of the Year – £2.5m – £10m turnover.” Previous winners include Ella's Kitchen, Fever-Tree, Moneysupermarket.com, Ovo Energy, Zoopla Property Group, and many more.
GMS has also been confirmed as one of the 12 finalists in the “The Micro Business of the Year” category at the prestigious Lloyds Bank British Excellence Awards, beating tough competition from an unprecedented number of entrants.

The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards is the UK's largest and most prestigious business awards program – celebrating the cream of the crop across industries, and championing sustainability, diversity, equity and those who have exceeded expectations and boundaries throughout the year. The awards will be presented at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane on November 12.
The Growing Business Awards, co-sponsored by Santander and Bridges Fund Management, have been bringing together and honoring the UK's leading entrepreneurs and high-growth businesses since its inception in 1998. Leading figures from UK SME's will come together to decide. winners in each category, before the finalists attend an awards ceremony at the London Hilton Bankside on November 26.
The news follows a record year for GMS, bolstered by a rise of 22 places in the PR Week Top 150 poll released in May. The business is poised for another record year of growth in 2024 as it is also set to establish more global offices in 2025.
