Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of defender Yan Couto on the first loan deal of the season from Manchester City.
The Brazilian joined City in 2020 and has yet to feature for the first team but has impressed with two loan spells at Girona at either end of the season with Braga.
He joins Dortmund until June 2025 with an obligation to make the deal permanent for £25.3million.

Couto said: “For me it's a dream come true.
“Borussia Dortmund is a special club. Every kid in Brazil knows how big this club is, knows the fans and is fascinated by the Yellow Wall.
“I can't wait to wear the BVB shirt for the first time and feel the energy and emotion in this brilliant stadium.”
Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl added: “Yan Couto is a very exciting player.
“His progress in Spain was very impressive but he still has a lot of potential to improve. He fits the profile we were looking for in this position.”
