Patrick Beverley will not face criminal charges for the incident in Game 6 of the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs between the Pacers and the Bucks.
Mike Vorkunov and Shams Charania of The Athletic reported Thursday that a spokesperson for the Marion County Prosecutor's Office confirmed this. Indianapolis police investigated Beverley's interaction with a fan on May 8, after the May 2 game in which Indiana eliminated Milwaukee from the playoffs.
The prosecutor's office was investigating the case and closed it.
