Man United are looking for a midfielder who is in danger of being snapped up by a Euro club

Fiorentina midfielder, Sofyan Amrabat, is expected to return to Manchester United, although Fenerbahce are also showing interest in the player.

The Moroccan midfielder had a disappointing season on loan at Manchester.

He took part in 30 games for the Red Devils in total, but it was in the last month of the season that he started regularly in the starting line-up.

The Red Devils are considering bringing the 28-year-old back to Old Trafford in the upcoming campaign as they have struggled to add midfielders this summer.

Erik ten Hag has so far made two signings this summer after completing the signings of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro.

He is determined to add more players to his squad this summer, especially in midfield but the former Man United manager could spoil his plans.

Fenerbahce, managed by Jose Mourinho, have reportedly made a second bid for Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, according to Turkish newspaper Fanatik, via Football Italia.

Man United have not decided whether they want to sign the midfielder or not.

Their main target in midfield is Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte but they are no closer to signing him this summer.

The Premier League giants have struggled with the French champions agreeing on a fee for the midfielder.

It remains to be seen whether Man United will convince PSG to sell Ugarte but they will have to act quickly.

The Premier League season is less than two weeks away and just as they have done their transfer business smartly so far, the same is expected of the upcoming players.

Sofyan Amrabat helped Man United win the FA Cup

Amrabat is not a man to please Man United fans though, the midfielder did not impress them during his loan spell last season.

He got off to a rough start and failed to get much playing time but manager Erik ten Hag trusts the player he knows from their time together in the Dutch league.

Amrabat was used at full back and in his natural defensive midfield position.

He helped the club win last season's FA Cup final against Manchester City and despite his difficult season, he was instrumental in their silverware success.
