On Saturday night in the main event from BMO Stadium on a stacked boxing card broadcast on DAZN, Terence 'Bud' Crawford defeated Israel Madrimov by a 12-round unanimous decision to win the WBA junior middleweight title.
There were some very interesting moments on the card. Jose Valenzuela showed great boxing skills when he defeated Pitbull Cruz to win the WBA junior welterweight title. We also had the long-awaited return of former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. Ruiz fought to a 12-round draw against Big Baby Miller, in a fight that many believe Miller deserved to win.
But the man who stole the show is Martin Bakole.

Bakole squared off against Jared 'The Real Big Baby' Anderson, an undefeated 24-year-old who was considered the future of American heavyweight boxing. It was a great performance by Bakole, who made a statement late in the opening round when he dropped Anderson for the first time in his career. Bakole showed a combination of incredible hand speed, good striking range, and great accuracy to break down Anderson. To his credit Anderson remained determined and fought Bakole to the best of his ability, where things quickly turned into a fun slugfest. But Bakole was simply too much for Anderson. Bakole took Anderson down twice more in the 5th round, and the referee picked it up when Bakole rained on it later in the round.
This episode of Rummy's Corner will provide quick detailed replay and review of the latest heavyweight bout between Martin Bakole and Jared Anderson. Please watch and enjoy the video for one man's perspective. This is Rummy's Corner (produced and narrated by Geoffrey Ciani).
