Everyone has experienced the exhilarating feeling that follows a perfect shot, regardless of skill level.
Now, Topgolf hopes to make more golfers feel that way with the help of its newest offering: the Sure Thing Club.
The club itself does not meet USGA standards and cannot be used in competitive play.
The Sure Thing was created in collaboration with Callaway's engineering team and incorporates a number of original and imagined design elements.
“At Topgolf, we exist to bring joy to the many ways to play golf, and the Sure Thing is one of the ways we deliver on that goal,” Topgolf CEO Artie Starrs said in a release.
“We want everyone to enjoy hitting the ball hard in the air and designing a club with young players in mind is our way of helping to make that happen.”
The large face area gives you the confidence you need to get the club face and open the ball in the air.
Sure Thing does not contain actual chicken wing technology, despite what the video above will imply. However… If players check out Sure Thing during early August play, Topgolf is offering a free order of boneless chicken wings at each course (while supplies last).
Nothing, not even rain or snow, can spoil a fun day at Topgolf unless it's a really bad weather day. Topgolf locations are all-weather facilities with covered hitting areas that are heated in the winter and fans in the summer.
Using any Topgolf clubs while playing the game is free. For your convenience, they offer clubs for left and right-handers, men, women, children, and toddlers. There are already men's and women's clubs in each port.
If you are comfortable playing with your clubs, choose places inside the docks to store them safely.
Topgolf will also store your clubs in their club room in case they are waiting so you can enjoy our facility without having to lug them around.
The idea behind Topgolf is that it's a game that anyone can play and enjoy, even if you get more hole-in-nones than hole-in-ones.
If your swing has more “room to improve” than you'd like, they also offer lessons and classes.
They do not have a formal/golf dress code.
“Fashion is a fun way to express yourself, and it would be wrong of us to stop that. Just remember, we are still a public institution,” they said.
