Devin Booker Trolls D'Angelo Russell Over Lakers Players Getting Most Calls

If you haven't checked out D'Angelo Russell's podcast yet, it's worth checking out, even if it's for the unexpectedly high production quality.

Russell's latest guest on the show, called the Backyard Podcast, was Devin Booker. And when the cameras started rolling, Bhuku had DLo jokes.

At one point in the episode, Russell admitted that he definitely received more calls from officials as a member of the Lakers, compared to when he played for other teams.

D'Angleo Russell: “I used to get whistled my boy, in LA young boul.”

Devin Booker: “In LA, that's not easy. You didn't find it in Brooklyn or the Golden State. That makes sense.”

“I was in LA, we were playing Phoenix… I used to get whistled, bro,” Russell said. “Like a beautiful little whistle. I used to get the whistle, my boy, in LA.”

That's when Booker came in.

“In LA, that's not fair,” she said. “You couldn't find it in Brooklyn or the Golden State. That makes sense.”

Russell and Booker are longtime friends and both came from the same 2015 draft class.
