Like most PGA Tour events, the Wyndham Championship was scheduled to begin Thursday morning. But the final tournament of the regular season was hit by heavy rains and thunderstorms yesterday with Tropical Storm Debby.

Storms flooded the field, and after several delays, the game was called off just before 12:00 ET.

Now the players fighting to make the top 70 and qualify for the FedEx Cup Playoffs are expected to begin their campaigns at 9:50 am ET on Friday, with more storms expected in the area on Friday afternoon.

You can watch the postponed first round of the Wyndham Championship on TV via the Golf Channel, which will air at 3pm ET on Friday.
