Gary O'Neil has signed a new four-year deal at Wolves
Wolves boss Gary O'Neil and his backroom staff have signed four-year contracts at the club, keeping them at the club until 2028.
It follows a successful first campaign for O'Neil, which saw the Midlands club finish in mid-table in the Premier League.
They also reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and achieved memorable victories, including against Chelsea and Tottenham.
Alongside O'Neil, assistant head coach, Tim Jenkins and coaches Shaun Derry, Ian Burchnall, Neil Cutler and Woody Dewar have committed to their future.
Chairman Jeff Shi said: “I think the club has a good future, building a new cycle of growth, better results on the field and aspirations to be fulfilled.
“To prepare for that, we need a very good team and I think Gary is an important member of the team, maybe the most important member, so we are very happy to have him here for a long time.
“The team as a whole – myself, Gary, Matt Hobbs and all the staff – are working very closely to prepare for the new season.

“Gary is invaluable and we are delighted to have a very young, talented, talented and outstanding manager here.
“He works hard and is humble. He may be the humblest manager I've ever worked with and one of the hardest working coaches I've ever met. His strength is about his tactics and his chemistry with the players. “
Wolves have just returned from their pre-season trip to Marbella and O'Neil says he is looking forward to building on more success in the future at Molineux.
Shi added: “If you have a strong connection with the team, staff and players, it is easier for you to have a connection with the fans.
“The whole city, we are one unit, and I think the whole city breathes together with the team. If the club is like the team, the whole city will be like the team.
“I'm always very interested in the future and we want to do more. We want to make the fans happy with us.
“Even after eight years, we feel that it is still the beginning of a long and successful time for the team. We are in first place right now and I am very happy about this.”
