Golf Business News – The Clutch Pro Tour kicks off with a Sky Sports premiere
Global Edition
Sky Sports will show highlights of a Clutch Pro Tour event for the first time when it broadcasts live action from its latest Tier One event at Slaley Hall Hotel Spa & Golf Resort in Northumberland.
The premier of these highlights will be on August 12 at 8pm and then at 10pm on Sky Sports Golf, with five repeats between August 13-15.
The Slaley Hall tournament was held on July 17-19, with a full field competing for a prize fund of £100,000, with £15,000 for the winner.
It is one of the 17 Tier 1 events about Mizuno Next Gen Series Schedule in 2024. The final event of the season, the Tour Championship, was held at Royal Norwich from September 24-26.
The Clutch Pro Tour was created in 2019 to give junior professionals in England more opportunities to play, and to help develop their careers. The first season takes place in 2020. Following the collapse of the EuroPro Tour in 2022, the Clutch Pro Tour now offers places on the Challenge Tour to the top three players in the Tier 1 rankings for the season.
A separate series of professional Tier 2 events is also operated by the Clutch Pro Tour, as well as a series of novices.
