Tottenham will 'break the transfer record' as Dominic Solanke's deal has been agreed
Tottenham Hotspur have finalized an agreement with Bournemouth regarding the future to sign striker Dominic Solanke, the report revealed.
An agreement was reached between the two clubs earlier in the week and personal terms had been agreed, but there was still work to be done before both clubs were ready to fully sign off on the transfer.
In accordance with Fabrizio Romanothat final handshake has arrived and Bournemouth have given Solanke permission to go for a test.
The deal is worth £65m including add-ons, which will make Solanke the most expensive signing in Tottenham's history, surpassing the £63m deal for midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, who recently left the club on a free transfer.
The availability of add-ons suggests that Spurs have rejected the £65m release clause in Solanke's contract and have instead struck a separate deal.
Unsurprisingly, the deal also represents a possible club record sale for Bournemouth.
Solanke has agreed on a six-year contract with Spurs which will be finalized once his assessment is done.
The Spurs coach, Ange Postecoglou, has not closed his desire to find a new striker to complement his team and it is clear that Solanke has won, who scored 19 goals in 38 Premier League games last season.
If all goes to plan, Solanke will be the fourth signing of the summer for Spurs, who have already welcomed Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray and Yang Min-hyeok to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
