LONG BEACH, Calif – Day two has come to an end at the Local Code Games and it was a really long day. From the first pitch at 8:02am to the last pitch at 8:04pm. That's a long day for all those people at Blair Field who are groundskeepers, PA announcers, scoreboard operators, photographers, organizers and even security staff. That's more than 12 hours at work.
Oh, and to make matters worse, that would come from Friday's first day of the elite games where first pitch was at 8:02am and last pitch was at 8:02am.[…]
