2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship odds, long pick to win

The FedEx Cup Playoffs begin this week at 2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, and we're looking at the former World No. 1 as our long shot to win it. Here are our long picks, the odds for the FedEx St. Jude, betting odds and everything else you need to know.

FedEx St. Jude odds: A long bet

For this week's playoff opener, we pick Jason Day as our long shot with +5500 odds to win.

Day, the former world No. 1 and 2015 PGA champion, has put together a strong 2024 season. In 18 starts, he had four top-10 finishes and only three missed cuts.

And Day 10s this year do not include his most recent start at the 2024 Olympics at Le Golf National, where he finished T9. He's safely 26th in the FedEx Cup standings going into the week, but he's only safe for so long. Only the top 30 will advance to the Tour Championship, so Day is motivated to play well to stay in line at East Lake.
