Seed introduces second generation SD-X1 golf ball – Golf News
Seed Golf has unveiled what it says is its longest ball ever with the launch of the second generation SD-X1, a ball designed specifically for the game's fastest swings.
Optimized for low spin and ball flight, the new Pro X1 exceeded the R&A speed limit during testing, forcing Seed to drive the ball back before it was released.
Since the introduction of the SD-X1, it has been a firm favorite with light to intermediate handicappers with high swing speeds, many of whom receive monthly shipments thanks to Seed's highly successful subscription-based service.
The SD-X1 is available now to order online from just £25 per dozen.
“We want Seed football to be a good fit for everyone, and that includes those players who are working their way to get one or better,” said Seed founder and CEO Dean Klatt. “With the new SD-X1 we feel we've found that formula and improved on the original.”
He added: “We've been getting early rave reviews about the SD-X1, including from some influential YouTubers, so we're really excited for our Seed family to hear this game-changing, boundary-pushing ballpark.”
The SD-X1 Pro X1 is designed for low-flying, touring and high-end pilot aircraft. Players who choose it are likely to be power golfers who want maximum distance off the tee.
