Joshua Buatsi can't predict Beterbiev-Bivol but he knows it's a tough job to beat both of them

JOSHUA BUATSI is a real player and knows how difficult it can be to try to beat Artur Beterbiev or Dmitry Bivol.

Two of the world's best light-heavyweights will put four world titles between them on the line in Riyadh on October 12 with the winner becoming the undisputed world champion.

It has been years since the two of them created a gap between themselves and other people that they could not hold. Some have fallen, some are far away and one or two are close to their shot at the world title. Buatsi plans to fly out to Riyadh to watch the two champions in October which will come a few weeks after his next fight with Willy Hutchinson at Wembley Stadium.

A win for Buatsi should see him fight the winner of Beterbiev-Bivol or at least challenge for the vacant title if the undisputed winner is stripped of one or more of his contests.

“He has a person with a 100% knock rate (Beterbiev) and a professional (Bivol) who will carry out his game plan. It is very difficult to call,” said Buatsi.

“They're both amazing, they're both champions for a reason and like everyone else we'll stay tuned and see who wins.”

“I think it's going to be a big question for any of them and that's true,” he added. “Let's not try to pretend that they are not legitimate champions. These are good champions.

“Being honest with you will be a difficult task for anyone.”
