Believe it or not, the PGA Tour has just five weeks before the playoffs begin and three more weeks before the 2024 FedEx Cup season ends.
And while the 2025 season doesn't begin until September, golf fans still have plenty to look forward to in the second installment of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup Fall series.
FedEx Cup Fall was reworked and revamped last year after Ponte Vedra's decision to go back to a calendar-based schedule model. The fall season was over in terms of point value for next season's FedEx Cup, but it still meant something: Travel cards.
Under the new model, the previous season's FedEx Cup points carry over into the fall and anyone outside the Top 70 must move into the Top 125 standings to retain full membership status on the following season's PGA Tour.
The fall series events also offer 10 spots in the first two Signature events of the season (Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Genesis in 2024) on the Aon Next 10 list.
While no official schedule has been released, each of the seven official events from the start of 2023 return in 2024, along with the addition of one new PGA Tour event, the Black Desert Championship in Utah. There will also be three unofficial events before the year closes, including the President's Cup in September.
