Former NBA player wins GOP primary, faces Klobuchar in Senate

Former NBA player Royce White won the GOP primary to challenge Sen. Amy Klobuchar in November. White, who played for the Sacramento Kings in 2014, won the race with strong support from Trump's allies, including Rep. Matt Gaetz, Kari Lake, and Mike Lindell.

His victory over Joe Fraser, who was supported by former GOP officials and the governor, reflects a shift within the Minnesota GOP. White has raised more than $125,000 and has $53,000 available for the general election.
