Rangers have held talks with the £1.7 million striker's agent as the Scottish club look to strengthen their front line at Ibrox for Philippe Clement.
The Gers have kicked off their campaign, picking up their first win of the season last weekend as they beat Motherwell. However, the Scottish side were upset on Tuesday night as they were knocked out of the Champions League in difficult circumstances, as Dynamo Kyiv won 2-0 at Ibrox and 3-1 on aggregate.
It is unclear how the Champions League exit will affect the rest of the club's transfer business, as Rangers have been busy in the market so far this summer.

Rangers summer signing
The fact that Rangers missed out on winning the league and lost in the cup final to Celtic means that the Scottish team will remain busy in this transfer window, as Clement is looking to topple Brendan Rodgers and Celtic.
Clement will know he needs to bring his Rangers side closer to their biggest rivals this campaign, and perhaps that is why the club have been busy in the market, signing eight new players.

These newcomers are a mixture of players who came to be paid, some who joined the team after their contracts ended, and loans. Rangers' two biggest signings of the window so far are the signings of midfielder Mohamed Diomande from Nordsjaelland and defender Robin Propper from Dutch club FC Twente.
Propper is one of Rangers' latest signings, and has revealed that it was “a no-brainer” for him to join the Scottish club after former club members sold him on a move away. Propper said, via BBC Sport: “I tried to do my work step by step and I think I found now the right option to go abroad.
“I felt confident that it would happen. I had a few chances to go abroad, but it wasn't the club for me. And now, the Rangers came, so it wasn't a bad thing for me. “
Propper's arrival improves Rangers defensively, but given the players who left the club earlier in the summer, such as Sam Lammers and Kemar Roofe, it's no surprise to see that Rangers are still looking to improve their front line.
The Guardians hold talks with Mahamadou Diarra's agent
According to AfricaFoot, Mahamadou Diarra may leave WSG Tirol this summer, and Rangers are the club holding talks with the player's agent. The report says that calls have taken place between the striker's agent and Rangers scouts.
It went on to add that part of the call was to discuss Diarra's potential contract at Ibrox, his playing time, the project on offer at the club, and his transfer bonuses.
Rangers are said to be unwilling to pay more than €2 million (£1.7 million) for the player. There are no concrete talks between the clubs yet, but the report says they should start soon. Last season saw a quiet campaign for the 20-year-old striker, with four goals and one assist in 24 league appearances.
