Kylian Mbappe is set to make his first start for Real Madrid after being fully integrated into Ancelotti's squad after the US tour. Mbappe could join Brazilians Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo up front for Madrid.
Jude Bellingham is also expected to line up in midfield in the absence of the retired Toni Kroos. Federico Valverde returned late from the Copa America but is ready to go on Wednesday, and the pair should be joined in the middle of the park by Aurelien Tchouameni.
David Alaba was the only absentee due to injury before Eduardo Camavinga limped off training on Tuesday. A minor knee issue is expected to keep the Frenchman sidelined.
Real Madrid predicted to face Atalanta (4-3-3): Courtois; Carvajal, Rudiger, Militao, Mendy; Valverde, Tchouameni, Bellingham; Rodrygo, Mbappe, Vinicius Junior.
Atalanta suffered a major blow earlier this summer with Gianluca Scamacca suffering an ACL tear during a pre-season friendly. The Italian international is out for good.
The club signed Mateo Retegui from Genoa as a substitute, while Charles De Ketelaere joined permanently following an excellent loan spell last season.
Ben Godfrey and Nicolo Zaniolo have also been brought in, but neither player is expected to feature in Gasperini's starting line-up on Wednesday.
Giorgio Scalvini is still out with a long-term knee injury, while Teun Koopmeiners is unlikely to feature given the speculation surrounding his future.
Atalanta predicted to face Real Madrid (3-4-2-1): Musso; Djimsiti, Hien, Kolasinac; Zappacosta, Pasalic, Ederson, Ruggeri; Lookman, De Ketelaere; Retegui.
The big boys are back in Madrid city, with plenty of intrigue surrounding Mbappe's reunion. How will the Frenchman view his Los Blancos bow?
We shouldn't be expecting anything close to an excellent repeat of Ancelotti's side in Warsaw, but Atalanta are still in their first Super Cup outing in excellent form. Their summer has been patchy, but they have been smart in the market.
Gasperini's side will compete hard on Wednesday and present many problems, but victory in the Super Cup against this star-studded Madrid nation is certainly beyond them.
Prediction: Real Madrid 2-0 Atalanta
