The only 'toolkit' you need to improve your short game

We tested the Short Game Gains Toolkit, which is bound to help improve your game as well. Here's what you should know about it.

GOLF

Fredrik Lindblom and Hannah Gregg, founders of Short Game Gains, have created a “golf toolbox” designed to simplify short game practice and produce powerful results. How does this work? We found out.

The Trigon Toolkit includes four essential positioning aids: a metal trigon mirror (a double sided reflecting plate for checking line of sight, first line, aim and face alignment), a lighted shoulder mirror (doubles as a ruler), two positioning- chalk pens (to help for finishing lines) and a retractable identification thread (to help with the finishing point).

I started the same way you should, by checking out the instructional videos on the SGG website, which include many exercises and tutorials.

The triangle mirror combined with the shoulder alignment mirror gave me great insight into my posture, and helped me quickly correct my posture. In addition, by using the ruler side of the shoulder alignment mirror, I was able to measure my stroke length while adjusting both my lateral speed and power. A chalk pen and a crayon have a lot of versatility. During practice I used a chalk pen to draw a radius around the hole to help me keep my missed putts at a certain distance and a string to read the green.

Incorporating these tools into your practice routine can greatly increase your polish on the green. The toolkit is compact and functional and is an essential tool for both beginners and scratch players.

Travel Toolkit for Short Games

$39.99

The Tour Toolkit was designed with feedback from professional golfers and world-class instructors. Most of the people we spoke to prioritized two things in their strategy: A consistent stroke pattern and a starting line. Previously, these things were not so easy to practice at once – so we developed the concept of the Tour Toolkit. This bundle includes Path Perfecters, All Terrain Gate, and a marking pen. With a variety of combinations, you can create a channel on the green that gives you instant feedback on your stroke, target, and starting line. Who said practice had to be boring?
