Junior Younan and Luzlim Bajrami put their undefeated records on the line on September 14

Junior Younan continues his march toward the top spot in the 168-pound division.

Younan will face Luzlim Bajrami in a fight of undefeated fighters on September 14 at the Paramount Theater in Huntington, New York, Star Boxing announced on Thursday. The 10-round belt will headline the Rockin' Fights 48 card.

Younan, 28, (20-0-1, 12 knockouts), who lives in Brooklyn, New York, last fought on May 11, knocking out Ricardo Lara in the opening round. Lara's victory was her first fight under the Star Boxing banner and took place at the Huntington Theatre.

In his last fight on November 24, Younan defeated goalkeeper Ramses Agaton by unanimous decision.

Younan's biggest fight came in February 2018, when he fought to a split decision against Ronald Ellis in a fight against his undefeated super middleweight. Younan also has wins over Dauren Yeleussinov, Derrick Findley, and Jeyson Minda.

Bajrami (9-0, 4 KOs), a native of Tetovo, Macedonia and now based in Hamburg, Germany, defeated journeyman Milos Janjanin by unanimous decision on June 1. It was his first fight since July 2022, when he defeated Radoslav Mitev. by unanimous decision.

The 26-year-old has only faced one champion with a winning record, defeating Janne Rantanen via knockout in April 2019.

In the main event, Erick Perez will take on Joseph Elzey (2-0, 1 KO) of The Bronx, New York in a four-round junior featherweight title fight.

Perez (2-0, 1 KO) is originally from Mexico and now resides in Passaic, New Jersey. The 23-year-old has fought his last two fights at the Paramount Theatre.

Featherweight Ronny Reyes (4-1, 1 KO) of New York City, promoted by Star Boxing, will face Yan Carlos Perez (2-0, 2 KOs) of the Dominican Republic in a six-round bout.

In a six-round super middleweight bout, Louis Maietta (4-4-2, 1 KO), also a resident of The Bronx, will face Jeremiah Truhlar (1-4-2) of Humble, Texas. Maietta is a New York City firefighter.

Rodrigo Marte (3-0, 2 KOs) of the Dominican Republic will face Yacouba Said in a six-round fight. Sid (3-1) is originally from Niger and currently lives in Marche, Italy.
